Shardae Bennett is an author, speaker, and passionate advocate for children with ADHD and Autism. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she is the visionary founder of Fort Julian Academy, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children of color through inclusive education and mental health awareness.

As the author of Sometimes Even Rainbows Cry, Shardae brings her heartfelt storytelling to life, offering children a safe space to explore big emotions with compassion and courage. Her journey—rooted in motherhood, advocacy, and resilience—inspires families everywhere to see strength in vulnerability and beauty in every shade of feeling.
